Same lean, muscular, golden-rust body as the smooth Vizsla but covered in a dense, wiry, close-lying coat (never fluffy or shaggy — the wire coat is tight and dense, not rough-looking). Characteristic golden beard and eyebrows. The same self-coloured golden-rust nose and eyes as the smooth Vizsla.
