The Story
The Rottador crosses the Rottweiler with the Labrador Retriever — combining the Rottweiler's protective instincts and power with the Labrador's warmth and trainability. The result is typically a large, loyal, affectionate family dog with a more moderate protective drive than the purebred Rottweiler. Well-socialised Rottadors are excellent family dogs, particularly for active households. The cross tends to produce a dog with the Rottweiler's physical power softened by the Labrador's sociability.
